GoChess Robotic Support Knowledge Base

Everything the support team needs for GoChess Robotic and GoChess Wizard Alive: how the product actually works, what customers get wrong, what is a known bug, and when to escalate. Built from the R&D deep-dive session with Amit Katz and Shakked Rashty, merged with the beta-ticket FAQ analysis.

Each answer is written to be usable as-is in a reply. Anything procedural is laid out as numbered steps you can walk a customer through, and Copy answer puts it on the clipboard as clean plain text. Entries badged Internal must never be pasted to a customer.

Image slots. Dashed boxes mark places where a photo or screenshot would do the explaining. Each one names the file it is waiting for, so drop that image into the img/ folder and it appears automatically, no code change. Captions describe exactly what to shoot. Image notes are stripped from Copy answer.

Triage first, always. The large majority of “the robot is stuck / moving wrong / dragging the wrong piece” tickets resolve with three questions: Is the board clean of dust (surface and piece bases)? · Is it on a hard, level surface supported corner to corner? · Are the pieces centred in their squares? Ask these before anything else.
